There's a few days left to vote and nominate the companies and products you think are the best of 2008. Last year Facebook won Best Overall. This is my first year of voting because I didn't know what this was last year.

The 2008 Crunchies is our second annual competition and award ceremony to recognize and celebrate the most compelling startups, internet and technology innovations of the year. The Crunchies is co-hosted by GigaOm, VentureBeat, Silicon Alley Insider, and TechCrunch. Best of all, the internet community is invited to choose who wins.

I myself found out about this via the web interface of DropBox (https://www.getdropbox.com, available 7/12-08) and I voted for them as "Best New Startup" but not "Best Design". I voted Google for several categories, including "Most Likely To Make The World A Better Place".
